Start the day off right and surprise the kids with a pretty flower pancake complete with fresh fruit and syrup this spring.
These spring pancakes are perfect for weekend brunch, Easter Sunday, or even a garden themed brunch for a group of giggling girls?
Spring flower pancake breakfast
What you need
- Metal flower-shaped cookie cutter
- Your favorite pancake mix
- Fresh fruit such as grapes, blueberries, and strawberries
- Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
Put the cookie cutter into your pan and spray it with non-stick cooking spray. Pour the pancake batter into the center, making sure you spread it into all of the petals.
Tip: If you don’t spray the cookie cutter, the pancake mix will stick to the sides making it more difficult to remove it. You can slip the cookie cutter off with a pair of tongs after you flip the pancake to cook the other side.
Once your pancake is ready, place it onto a plate and decorate it with fresh fruit. Serve with syrup.
