This DIY Dr Seuss photo booth is the perfect addition for Cat in the Hat week, Dr. Seuss parties, World Book Day, and so much more.

We celebrated Cat in the Hat week with a family literacy night for current and future students in our community. Each teacher was asked to contribute an activity for the event. A couple of us took a couch and bean bags along with baskets of books to make a reading corner, and I decided to add a fun photo booth too which the kids and families loved.
We used the same method to build this one as we did the fall scarecrow photo booth. This time though, one of my kids cut and assembled it under Mike’s supervision.
After I sketched out the basic image, which started with just the letters A, B, C, he cut the hole in the B which was the perfect height for children.
The rest of the images came to me as I sketched and painted.
